Motor mods:

Airflow Research (AFR) 205cc heads, CNC ported. Heads hand finished by Tony Mamo to increase combustion chamber size to 4.00" bore which further unshrouded the valves. Valve job was modified to increase flow at low and mid lifts., Heads were milled .060" yielding a combustion chamber  volume of 57cc. Static compression ratio of 11.92 to 1. 2.02 intake valves with lightweight hollow stems (98 grams each), 1.60 exhaust valves. Double quench pad combustion chambers.  AFR #8019 valve springs shimmed to within .050" of coil bind. 170 seat pressure, 450 open pressure. 1.775" installed height.

AFR 205 flow in milled form with 57cc on a 3.900 bore at 28" H2O:

Lift........ .200", .300", .400", .500", .550", .600"

Intake.....158,    220,   264,   285,    296,    300

Exhaust 122.,   178,   217,   232,    N/A,    241 (with pipe)

Fel-Pro 1041 .041" head gaskets to give a .031" quench.

Custom Comp Cams camshaft: 3729R/3731R HR 112 +3

238/242 duration at .050, .605/.610 lift, 112 LSA installed at 109 intake centerline. Dynamic compression of 8.86 to 1.

Comp Cams 7.400" chrome-moly pushrods to accommodate the milled heads and smaller base circle of the cam.

Yella Terra Ultra Light #6645 shaft mounted rocker arms (with .050" shim installed).

Comp R (875-16) hydraulic roller lifters with .035-.050" plunger depth. 3/8 to 1/2 turn of the rocker bolt from 0 lash until 22 lb. ft. of torque.

FAST 90 intake manifold velocity ported by Tony Mamo from Airflow Research. This porting has been shown to be worth 7-10 rwhp/rwtq over an unported FAST intake. To see a dyno comparison between a Mamofied FAST intake vs. an LS6 intake with stage 3 ported throttle body, press here.

Nick Williams 90mm throttle body vs. stage 3 epoxy ported stock throttle body.

Motorsport Technology Inc. (MTI) carbon fiber intake lid with K&N filter. Mezeire electric water pump.

Custom 4" bellows mates air lid to throttle body. No Mass Airflow Sensor.

Custom PG Ram Air spacer allows a tight seal between hood scoop and air box. Composite material is 1" thick.

ASP under-drive crank pulley.

Kooks Stainless Steel headers with custom Y-pipe utilizing LG Motorsports 4" merge y-collector and QTP 4" electric cutout. Stage 8 locking header bolts.

NGK TR-6 spark plugs gapped .045".

Custom 347 ci short block built by Erik Koenig at HK Enterprises in Houston, Tx.. Diamond forged pistons, file-fit rings and pins. ARP main studs. ARP rod bolts. Ported LS6 oil pump, shimmed for higher pressure. Cloyes timing chain. Cloyes Hex-a-just adjustable timing gears. ARP 12 point head studs.

Racetronix Delphi/Lucas 37lb./hr. high impedence fuel injectors (42 lbs. at 4 bar). Racetronix plug and play fuel system. Enough capacity for over 650 rwhp.

Custom MAF-less speed density tuning utilizing EFI Live, Dynojet Chassis Dyno and a wide-band O2 sensor. Air/fuel ratio set at 12.5:1 at peak torque and 13.0 to 1 at peak power on the chassis dyno. Timing is 28 degrees at peak torque and 30 degrees at peak power (no gains with increased timing), idle speed 850 rpm, rev limiter 7200 rpm. With L-Trims locked at 0%, all lower rpm VE tables are within 3% S-Trims. Throttle response is fantastic!
